6 Fast, Easy, & Delicious Smoothies to make in 2018 (V, VG, GF, DF)

December 19, 2016

Ahhhhhhhh the New Year!  Time to get back into smoothies and salads.  I’ve rounded up my favorite 6 smoothies that I make daily and they all have 7 ingredients or LESS to make it even easier.  I love smoothies because they are fast, easy, and you really can’t mess them up.  5 days out of 7, I’m rushing out the door (as most of us are) and if I prep a few of the ingredients the night before (like putting the liquids, veggies and yogurt in the blender), I know I’m in with a chance of having a healthy breakfast.  With a few staples on hand, you’ll be the Queen (or King) of the smoothie castle! I love adding veggies to mine to up the nutrient intake and also to help keep me fuller for longer.  I also love adding yogurt, nuts, seeds, protein powders, different superfood powders such as maca, acai, and matcha, as well as different spices like turmeric and cinnamon.  For extra sweetness, you can add dates, honey, coconut sugar or maple syrup.  Again, you really can’t go wrong.   I’ll list a few additional *add ins below too.  Feel free to play around with different fruit, veggie, seed and nut combos and get creative!  Simply blend and enjoy! Feel like indulging slightly?  Try this Creme Brulee smoothie!

These smoothies are full of veggies, fruits and healthy fats perfect for that New Year’s reset.
