Here’s a smoothie recipe that is energizing, filling, and delicious that will have you ready to seize the day! This will take two minutes to whip up and is super creamy and loaded with oats, bananas, protein powder, and an optional dollop of that date caramel from the Peaches and Cream post from yesterday.

Serves 2

1 scoop of vanilla protein powder (I used Nuzest vegan protein powder)

1 1/2  cups almond milk

1 T maca powder

2 T gluten free quick cooking oats (I used Bob’s Red Mill)

1 T chia seeds

1 T coconut flakes (unsweetened)

1 1/2 frozen banana

1 T date caramel (optional)
